THEME: Film, being designated as the 7th Art, translates into the technique and ability to record and reproduce images with sense of movement, the works created called Movies, are produced by recording images of the world around us, with cameras, or using animation techniques and visual effects. Mail Art has no official number that designates it, but are many who adopted it in the past and present, as a manifestation of artistic expression, like in cinema, images, concepts, or other expressions, whether visual, tactile, sound or that explore other senses are developed and shared for a specific audience.
Both Mail Art and Film share a certain longevity, being different in form but not in essence, since both are means of communication and creativity that man has at his disposal. It is this tenuous link that is purported to be explored in this Mail Art Call.

CONVOCATÓRIA / CALL

 Convidam-se todos os Criadores, independentemente da idade, etnia, sexo, filosofia e religião,  a criarem um trabalho ORIGINAL, subordinado à seguinte idéia:


TEMA: TAKE1 - CINEMA E MAIL ART?

" O Cinema sendo designada como a 7ª Arte, traduz-se na técnica e na faculdade de registar e reproduzir imagens com impressão de movimento, as obras criadas designadas por  filmes,  são produzidas através do registo de imagens do mundo, com câmaras ou  utilizando técnicas de animação e efeitos visuais.
 A Arte Postal não tendo nenhum número oficial que a designe, são muitos aqueles que a adoptaram no passado e a utilizam no presente, como manifestação artística de expressão, tal como no cinema, imagens, conceitos e ou outras expressões, sejam elas visuais, tácteis, sonoras ou que explorem outros sentidos,  são elaboradas e partilhadas para um público específico. 
 Tanto o Cinema como a Arte Postal, compartilham uma certa longevidade, sendo distintos na sua forma, mas não na sua essência, pois ambas representam meios de comunicação e criatividade que o homem tem ao seu dispor. É esta ténue ligação que se propõem ser explorada nesta Convocatória Postal."

PARTICIPAÇÃO: aberto a todos os criadores do planeta Terra.

TÉCNICA: todas as técnicas são permitidas, desde que os suportes sejam possíveis de serem enviados por correio

FORMATO: dimensão máxima permitida 15x21cm (5.91x8.27in)

TERMOS: 
- Sem júri, sem selecção, sem prémios, sem retornos.
- Cada participante só pode enviar um trabalho e deverá indicar, seu nome completo, morada, nacionalidade, email e web site caso existam.
- Os  participantes devem concordar com a reprodução de seus trabalhos em catálogos ou outro material didáctico, tal como a exposição pública dos mesmos por parte dos organizadores do evento.

- Todos os trabalhos serão expostos, excluindo trabalhos racistas, xenófobos e que descriminem qualquer religião.
- ATENÇÃO! NÃO SE ACEITAM reproduções de trabalhos que tenham sido enviadas para outros projectos de Arte Postal ou para Mail Artists, todos os trabalhos devem ser únicos e ORIGINAIS, devidamente assinados pelos seus autores
- Para facilitar a publicação dos trabalhos recebidos no WebSite/blog ,agradece-se que seja enviado por e-mail uma imagem do mesmo, e com suas especificações técnicas, incluindo o envelope ou pacote de envio se este tiver alguma intervenção artística, para:

EXPOSIÇÃO: os trabalhos serão expostos num espaço ainda a definir em Lisboa, PORTUGAL, a data de exibição está marcada para Junho de 2012, data esta que poderá ser alterada e irá estar patente ao público durante um mês.

PARTICIPATION: open to all Planet Earth creators

TECHNIQUE: all techniques are allowed, provided that the holders are able to be mailed

FORMAT: max size 15x21cm (5.91x8.27in)

TERMS:
- No jury, no selection, no prizes, no returns.
- Each artist can only participate with a one work, and should provide, full name, address, nationality, email and web site if available.
- All participants must agree to the reproduction of his work in brochures or other educational material, such as public exposure of the same by the event organizers.
- All works will be exhibited, excluding racist, xenophobic and religion discriminate works.
- ATTENTION !, reproductions of works that have been sent to other Mail Art Calls or Mail Artists are NOT ACCEPT, all works must be ORIGINAL and unique, duly signed by their authors. 
-To facilitate the publication of the received works on the Website/blog, please sent by e-mail a picture of it, including the envelope or shipping package if it has any artistic intervention, to:
 

EXHIBITION: the works will be exhibited in a space yet to be defined in Lisbon, PORTUGAL, the exhibition date is scheduled for June 2012, which might be altered, and will open to the public for a month.
